I help managers build effective relationships and lead without authority at work
Didi Oshrat
Psychologist and organizational consultant

Leading without authority is the most important ability managers can possess
A managerial role comes with authority, but to build a committed and effective team, managers must know how to motivate their team members without authority. In addition, they must influence other employees who are not part of their formal team—some are not even from the same organization. The key to success lies in managers’ ability to build effective relationships at work.
It all begins with self-awareness
Motivating others without authority requires a variety of interpersonal skills: listening and empathy, understanding the needs of others, building trust, conveying a clear message, and so on. The basis for each of these skills begins with the development of one’s self-awareness. Using Everything DiSC’s powerful tools, I help managers identify their own unique styles as leaders and understand how that style affects others. This is where it all begins…
In the new world of work, leading is everyone's responsibility — regardless of rank or position.
Today’s organizations need individuals who know how to collaborate with others and see leading without authority as part of their work, regardless of their rank or role in the organization.
Hi, I'm Didi.
When I am asked what an organizational consultant actually does, I simply answer that I help people succeed at work—and that’s usually where I leave it. Other times, I explain that I help people strengthen their leadership and develop effective relationships at work. This ability helps people feel fulfilled, motivate others, and also enjoy their work more, just as I enjoy mine.
I am a psychologist and an organizational consultant, working with organizations and managers for over fifteen years.
